I got this chair for my elderly friend. She loves the height of it, that its comfortable to sit in and that it reclines. However it is hard to push the footrest back down once its reclined. I actually had a hard time with that myself. It does swivel nicely, however, its hard for her to get out of it because she has to use a walker to pull herself up and with the swivel feature, shes worried its going to shift on her while getting up. So we are going to fix that for her. It also came with a small fray on the armrest. Not a big deal. The chair came in one very heavy box. I couldnt lift it by myself. Recently, when my neighbor’s due date was approaching, she was worried because she hadn’t yet bought most of the furniture and baby essentials. This rocking chair is really cute and comfy and should have a 5 star review but unfortunately I had to only give 4stars and heres why. I put together a lot of furniture and I found these instructions hard to read. Once I figured it out the next problem was the two screws that hold the back rest wouldnt work. I tried everything but the metal piece was put in too deep for the screw to grab so I ended up having to use lock tight glue to reach and grab. So hopefully it will hold.
