We used these on our back patio and added faux shrubbery to add some greenery. These are metal and VERY sturdy. You could even put bricks or rocks in the base if you live in a windy spot. I absolutely love my new planters! They are just what I expected and they were very easy to assemble. It primarily took one person to assemble except for the base which it took 2 people briefly just to hold in place to screw it together It only took about 20 minutes to assemble both of them.. Kate.
