These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. This is my first Wayfair review, although not my first purchase. I absolutely love everything about this door! It is heavy and sturdy, and it slides well for open and close. I will be drilling a few small holes on the shelf side, for hooks to store car keys and other items to have handy by the front door. It’s exactly what I pictured for my space. However, I gave this a 4-star due to the unclear instructions. It took my husband and me over an hour to put the door together, and then an afternoon to install it. This is definitely a two-person job! I really wish companies would understand that most of us aren’t assemblers by nature, and that step-by step photos and super-specific instructions go a long way towards a customer’s satisfaction.
