I cant say this bed isnt pretty. I do like it. However, what appears to be wrought iron is actually painted plastic composite material. Also the framing around the headboard is also plastic like. I posted a picture of.the corner that has a chip and it feels and looks like plastic. The center of the headboard, the footboard, and side rails do appear to be wood. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
