My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches. I used this with the 48" Celino 3 Blade Ceiling Fan. The finishes go perfectly together. Installation is problematic with the instructions as is, we weren't able to line up the adapter and the fan so that it was at the right angle for hanging without a wobble. After many tries and thinking ahead for slope angles, the adapter still won't lineup properly, so it produces a wobble when the fan is turned on. We still use it and are used to the wobble.
