This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. This is excellent, nice looking and very solid. As other reviews have noted, it does require a power drill to secure the basket rims. Also, getting the top "tension rod" component assembled and in place was a bit tricky and required a ladder for 8-foot ceilings, but I was able to get it in place by myself, it looks great, and it's extremely sturdy. My cats (8-12 lbs) love it and I was happy I didn't have to drill into my walls or ceiling. The reason i gave it 4 stars because IT IS NOT CHOCOLATE BROWN as pictured which is what I wanted. It is a med beige tan, see photo. Disappointing but I am keeping it and my two cats love it.
