We had 2 of these installed. The control panel became unattached on the first one and Wayfair sent us another range hood. I thought the first hood was pretty loud, but did an ok (just ok) job sucking smoke from the kitchen. But with the second hood, the installer noticed that the intake piece that is supposed to open when the hood was on has only half opening, which was causing the hood to be very loud. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. The recirculation kits performs multi-stage filtration and removes the odor from the gas and smoke that is sucked into the range hood, which removes harmful components and pollutants in the smoke, and effectively solves the problem of using range hoods in houses where the range hood cannot be exhausted. Do not try to clean the charcoal filter in the recirculation kit as it can not be cleaned, Please change the charcoal filter every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage)

Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile. Will be using unducted & want to add charcoal filters for the occasional sautéing & broiler use. The LED lights are bright & make my stove top shine nicely - like showroom quality. I actually love this sink--it's nice & deep, is easy to keep clean, and looks beautiful in our kitchen. My only issue is that it DOES scratch, even though it claims to be scratch resistant. I have to be very careful about what I use to clean it so that it doesn't scratch. I was using one of those sponges that has a scrubber on one side and it scratched the sink pretty easily. It's not super noticeable, and it doesn't bother me that much, but it's still a little disappointing. I would probably buy this sink again because it's so roomy, but if you're worried about scratches, you might look around.. Anonymous. Tue Jun 02 2026
