For these two new ones, I've converted them into self-watering planters using sturdy 22 inch saucers and 1/2 inch solid-braid nylon rope for wicking the water up into the soil. Really cute and nice. Very easy to put together, even without instructions. My only complaint is I would have liked to have seen a little stronger metal mesh base for resting you plants or decorations on. In the long run, may be okay, but after I put the three large pots that weighed between 15-25 lbs we had for the planter inside, the base sagged slightly. Hopefully will be okay.. Kenneth.
