Spent a lot of time researching for this. Many non-salt filters/softeners are so expensive to run. I liked that this has a pre-filter, but that the water is primarily run through a tank. Installation wasn't too bad.. I say that as if I put it in. Long story short, this has DRAMATICALLY reduced the scale in my home. Both ski BASE and James Bond movie fans alike can appriciate Mt Asgard. Stunt legend Rick Sylvester skied off this mountain while opening a parachute of a British flag off his back in 1976. This performed this stunt before it became a sport of its own. Leo Houlding also has a tale to tell of this mountain. In 2009, he and a team of climbers made the free ascent of Mount Asgard on the north face. A free ascent is where a climber is permitted to use ropes and/or other forms of climbing protection, but only to protect against death or injury and not to aid in progress. This was also in a movie called the Asgard Project. Houlding also BASE jumped off the mountain's summit. BASE jumping is jumping from a high object with a parachute to land safely. BASE is an acronym that stands for the 4 points one can jump from, buildings, antennae, spans, and earth. we installed this water system about a year ago and noticed a drop in water pressure. We are kind of clueless when it comes to this stuff so we decided that it could be the filter ( which after reading should've been replaced at six months) . The filter was filthy disgusting oily rusty residue trapped inside . It was doing a fabulous job of keeping the crap out of our bodies..
