I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. Excellent service and product! This one arrived flat not rolled, possibly due to the size and it is a thick heavy mat. Does well on my medium to highish pile carpet considering my sons gaming chair weighs 50# without him setting in it. This is a very nice office chair mat to protect my hardwood floor. I used to buy the see-through plastic mats for the chair to roll around on, but decided to try Wayfair's suggestion in regards to this type of mat. I'm glad I did. It came in square packaging, and unfolded easily. Any creases came out almost immediately and it lays flat all over, corners too!
