Beautiful, but it was incredibly difficult to assemble. I know a lot of people said it was easy, but as a young woman, I just didn't have the strength in my thumbs to insert all the tiny plastic pieces without it being excruciatingly painful in the end. I'm not saying that to scare you - just know what if you don't have strong hands, it can hurt. I was in tears in the end. I'd recommend getting someone to help you. Additionally, the long metal bar that's wedged into the headboard was not fitting and I had no idea why. I finally had to use a mallet to pound it into place. It's probably the hardest thing I've personally ever assembled due to the pain-factor. Once the bed was done, it was very solid and high-quality. It works perfectly fine as a twin-size day bed. If you're making it a king size, I'd recommend getting a twin-to-king mattress converter. That eliminates the painful gap in the middle. For extra comfort you can add a king-size mattress topper, but I didn't do that due to lack of storage space (if I had the space I wouldn't need the trundle bed). Update This rug is still in great condition after almost 6 months. I do recommend getting a carding brushany pet brush, and brushing your rug to help with the shedding and the matting. I ended up purchasing 2 of the black ones (8x5) since I wanted a large rug that was about 10 feet long. It’s exactly as described and shipping was quick! The rug feels almost silky when you’re walking on it, although it’s really thin and you will need a rug pad if you want some cushion. For now, I’m just tying to keep it from wrinkling up when we walk on it, so I used double sided rug tape. It does shed after a few days and gets all over your clothes, feet, socks, etc. From experience with shaggy pillows and rugs, this usually stops after a few weeks or so. Super simple and quick to put together, also very easy to adjust into a bed or back into a futon. Really pretty color but it’s suede not leather, either way it has a leather aesthetic. It’s smaller than expected which is on me for not measuring but it’s also very shallow. Not overly cushy either. It’ll serve its purpose but overall I think it’ll be too small for most.. Cortney.
