Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! The box was delivered with one long side torn. Fortunately it appears the glass panels inside are not damaged. The metallic color of the frame is consistent with the pictures on the website. This table is constructed of a thermal fused melamine laminate tabletop that is 1-inch thick and finished with a black T-Mold edge band. The tabletop is double-sided, simply pick the side you like and install the base on the other. Self tapping wood screws and a placement template are included. Laminates are scratch, stain and scald resistant and wipe clean easily. The base is constructed of a tubular steel X-Base and is protected with a black powder coated finish for a uniform, matte finish. Adjustable glides on the bottom that raise the whole base off the ground give the Kobe collection an open, modern look.
