It isn’t packaged well and the base gets dented and banged up and the palm fronds get bent. I love this lamp for reading or needlework. The best thing about it is the onoff switch is within arms reach at the top and not some button on the floor. It has 3 brightness settings and the head can be turned in many directions. Another great thing is the small base. Notice from the picture that it has a very small footprint.
