Needed a replacement divert spout for a 20 year old Jacuzzi whirlpool tub where the chrome started to flake off. This one is a few inches longer than the original but doesn't look out of place on the tub. The shorted one would have been too short. Besides warranted not to chip, this spout also solved another issue. The original one released a shot of water after it had been off for awhile. This spout does not have that problem. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools.
