I used this for a decorative filler to block some gaps in a balustrade to prevent my cats from squeezing through. Worked perfectly and maintains the rustic look of the area. I'm sure it would work just as well for its intended purpose: protecting chickens. Just note that this stuff is a little difficult to work with. Make sure you have good wire cutters and other tools..
