The Atlas lifting sculpture has a storied namesake. In Greek mythology, Atlas was the Titan god of endurance whom Zeus tasked with holding up the celestial heavens for eternity. The figure supporting the woodblock on this black sculpture has as weighty a job as the mythical hero. With this sculpture, we’ve taken a piece of chamcha wood that would have been one of nature’s castaways and made it into an elemental design statement. Combined with the clean black metal base, the overall style is fitting for a number of interiors, including the contemporary, modern farmhouse, and industrial chic. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. When the first rain came I noticed the water bead up and roll off of the driveway as expected. I will probably do this yearly to maintain the concrete. Best price I could find also.. Earl. Great product for protecting concrete. Be careful with how you want to apply this product. I used a plastic container and sprayer, and this sealer literally melted the plastic/ spraying wand. I had to buy stailess steel sprayer to apply this sealer. Also, use a very good quality gloves to avoid any skin rash. It would be great if the supplier supplied MSDS sheet and warning label to not to use any plastic sprayer. Product is excellent, easy to apply!
