This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. The coffee tastes great and the overall functionality is honestly brilliant. My only knock is the internal containers in the tray that trigger the “ready” sensors seem very hypersensitive, so it can be finicky. Also, it’s pretty noisy while it’s running. I was well overdue for a new immersion blender, and did a good bit of research before deciding on this one. The attachments on this model are terrific. The only one I have not yet used is the masher (solid black piece), but maybe this fall when we make more mashed potatoes. The blender has a safety lock design that my previous did not. The "click" mechanism for releasing/swapping attachments makes using it a breeze. I especially like that it has three speeds for blending: pulse (which pulses though you hold the button steady), low and high. This makes it very versatile for my various uses.
