Some brands use wood that bends or feels flimsy—this one absolutely does not. Solid wood, solid parts, very well made. The LED lights are such a fun upgrade too—you control them with an app that’s included in the box. This was a new item and didn't have any reviews, absolutely a fail on my part to notice that AFTER the package arrived. The "white" pieces were unboxed and found to be pink/lavender. The manufacturer said it was a visual effect from the manufacturing process (essentially, I wasn't really seeing it as pink/purple). Through a lot of back and forth, they're taking it back and as much as I like the look of the item, I am not chancing ordering it again and finding the same issue. I did ask if they'd open the package and make sure it's ACTUALLY white if were to order it again, but they said that's not possible. So I ordered something different. Beware the unrated items..
