It’ll take some getting used to but the aesthetics are pleasing to my eyes. I went from dark cherry finish with box springs down to a distressed white platform bed. I can’t stop looking at it every time I walk into my room! Disclaimer It took 2 people approx 3 hours to assemble. If you’re doing it by yourself it’ll take much longer. It’s easier with at least 2 people and (if you’re the 2nd person go ahead and find you an allen wrench, it’ll go by faster than our 3 hours). Tip The box is heavy and much heavier if you’re going upstairs, so get some muscles to help you. Also check off each item as you take it out of the box, to make sure nothing is missing.. I had been watching this headboard for a long time. I finally ordered and it was an open box so I saved even more. This is a solid and sturdy headboard and we love it. I have added pics so you can truly see the color and what to expect. I was nervous to order but since I planned to possibly paint this myself if the color is not what I wanted I went ahead and did it. Love the look and the size. It is not white white.
