In my opinion, these racks were just a little lightweight in comparison to wire racks I have bought and used in the past. I also think they should be just a little taller. When hanging clothes on the hanging bars (one above the other), another inch or two would have provided some separation between the bottom of the clothes on the top and bottom levels. We choose this closet alternative for our nursery since we didnt have quite enough depth for an actual closet. It looks very nice put together. The industrial style rod system is made of metal and very sturdy as long as its anchored correctly. The drawers are fairly shallow so ideal for a nursery but probably not your main storage.
