We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. I like the white, it disappears into the ceiling. The gold is a nice touch. It can go in almost any style of room. It elegantly updated my family room. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height. Still, it is nice to sometimes only have this light on when in the room. It gives off nice light and is adjustable too. The 72-in 6 aluminum blade large ceiling fan with lights and remote deserves a five star rating! Even though the box that it came in said fragile don't drop, and with the box looking like it was dropped and then kicked, everything inside the box was packaged so well that there was no damage to the ceiling fan. The directions were easy to follow and the installation was a breeze for my husband haha pun intended! What he liked about this was the aluminum blades because it is placed in our greenhouse so wood blades on a ceiling fan probably would not be a good idea given the moisture, but because these are aluminum it will hold up in the damp atmosphere. He also love that each blade had a protective coating around the tips because we've had a ceiling fan before that literally cut my husband's hand while in motion, and we literally got rid of that one and replaced it with a different one. The light on this is ceiling fan is bright and having LED is cost-effective. It is super quiet and with having multiple speeds you can really dial in your desired air submission. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This fan is beautiful. The prettiest fan I have bought in years. It even had extra longer blades than the average ceiling fan. The reason I gave it a four star and not five is because of fan speed. I was really excited it had six speeds. Unfortunately having it on the highest speed, six, it only feels like a two on a three speed ceiling fan.
