Before this, I had a coir mat that was too small and it looked good for maybe three months. All the text and graphics rubbed off. Plus, it was discolored in places of heavy wear. Kinda gross. This is my second grill mat from them. Love how durable this mat is. It goes perfectly underneath the grill. Unlike a lot of the other mats on the market this thing is meant to last. Product is manufactured in 40' rolls of 2, 3, or 4 foot widths and we cut them to order. Once you get the mat, if it is too big, it is easy to cut down the length of the mat. Soft vinyl ribbons joining the threads are easy to cut through with a utility knife. However if you wish to cut down the width of the mat - this may be a bit of a challenge as you will need to use a saw.
