This lamp turned out perfect for what I needed. I liked that the lampshade was whiter than it looked onscreen, and it was easy to put together. It definitely has a nice weight to it, thanks to the marble insert on the base. Overall, I think its a little overpriced... its a dupe of a high end look, but I don't think it needs to be this price as a dupe. As with a lot of 'brass' items, its a brushed on effect and on close inspection it doesn't look as good a real brass. Its fine for the purpose and it suits my dining chairs which have the same effect. I didn't love that it went on sale after I ordered but before it was delivered....grrrr! it arrives in two boxes - one with the base and the shade, and the other with the arc pole. also comes with a bulb and has a dimmer. This lamp was relatively easy to assemble with 3 parts which all screw together. The only complexity was removal the protective plastic around the product and managing the cord which ran through the center of each part. While one person could easily assemble this, it was helpful to have second person prop up the parts while being screwed together. The results speak for themselves. The lowest hanging of the 5 lights rests at about 5’3” and the highest at 6’2” as described. The light is a natural warm color which plays well against neutral tones instead of washing them out.
