It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. My only complaint is how challenging the installation was and how flimsy the connections seem to be. Overall, this rug is pretty good. The colors are pretty accurate to what was pictured. It is definitely a thinner rug so a rug pad would be needed. It came tightly rolled up so definitely needs time once opening to lay flat. Placing heavy books on the ends helped. It is soft feeling. I think it will hold up for a while.
