It took almost 2 days to inflate to full 6 inches due to corners being slanted. The mattress has been I guess compressed since manufacturing date in 2024, so about 1-2 years but it’s still puffing up nicely. I didn’t notice any odor at all. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening.
