This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. It's exactly what my wife wanted, and she's happy with it. For installation, the gas line and the electrical wire have to share a very small space at the bottom in the back. Advice: Don't try to use a gas line that's longer than 36" (1m). Both a 3-prong and a 4-prong electrical wire were included. For the price of $809 and free shipping this was worth it for me. Having said that, there are issues. The ash drops through a chute BEHIND and underneath the unit. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. The DVAG30L Direct Vent Wall Heater from Ashley Hearth products makes the perfect solution for zoned heating. The space-saving direct vent furnace design mounts to an exterior wall and the adjustable vent assembly adjusts to fit walls from 4-1/2 inches to 10 inches thick. For clean, comfortable heat when and where you want it, the gas flame is completely sealed inside, away from all contact with room air. Air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from outside through the vent and combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Only clean, gentle heat, in continuous circulation, is delivered into the room. Windows and doors stay closed because no room air is used for combustion. The DVA30L direct vent propane wall furnace is designed to heat up to 425 Sq. Ft. and has a 25,000 BTU input.

Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin.
