Love the lamp! Something weird happened though and the light would go off after about a minute. Your Customer Service representative, Robert, was so nice and replaced it immediately. In the instructions it says that the lamp can't be recharged and when it stops working to simply throw it away. I've never heard anything like that and bet you haven't either.
