Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Good solid barbecue that works well once assembled. Gets hot enough to actually sear! The assembly instructions are terrible (lost a star for that) but we got it together after finding a you tube video. I really like the grill. It ignites, cooks and looks great. And was a good value. I previously owned the E-310 which was about 15 years old. It was better built, with solid sides and what seemed to be higher gauge steel. I left the cover off the new grill one night and rain came into the case through the open sides.
