All the weight is taken by two small discs screws tot he side walls, and you will need to glue these as well as screw them otherwise they spin when you try to screw the adjoining pieces to them. Beautiful shower door that was easy to install. I almost didn’t purchase due to other reviews saying it had unclear instructions and didn’t fit American tubs, neither is true and I’m so glad I got this!
