Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. MrSteam Remote temperature probe used to accurately read the temperature inside the steam room and send it to the controller.

You will not be receiving this product as pictured. The pictured item is the sensor probe for their commercial stream generators. The residential stream generator only comes with the probe, no metal housing/ grill. Mr. Stan expects you to put the probe within your grout....so not sure how this would work down the road if you ever needed to service or replace this probe...rip out your grout? Also, you'd need to consider your spacing in your grout where you'd be placing this probe. Wish I knew ahead of ordering and then requesting replacement which arrived like the first, no housing/grill. Owned my pellet grill for about three years now. Internals of the first rotisserie melted. Replaced with this rotisserie - it quit working after less then 20 uses. It will rotate with no shaft inserted, but can’t rotate once the shaft is inserted into it - this is with no meat on the shaft. Do not buy this product. I’m going to try and get warranty coverage - not sure how that will go. I love the pellet grill - disappointed Broil King would sell such a low quality accessory.. Just A Guy.. Thu Dec 05 2024
