Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. The hand shower wand offers a total spray and push button pause mode for a non positive shutoff. Both the showerhead and wand are equipped with EverFlow rubber spray nozzles, which are non corrosive and easy to clean. The system includes a 30 inch hand shower slide bar with a 60 inch flexible metal hose and has a low flow rate of 1.5 GPM (5.7 L/min). Please note that an S16 or S26 series Symmons Temptrol valve (not included) is required for operation.
