I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. Beyond pleased with the manufacturer of this item (Wyndham) and with Wayfair. I unfortunately received a badly broken countertop, but Wayfair replaced the entire item. The second one was in perfect condition and though the project was delayed, it was 100% worth the wait. This is a great quality piece. It fit my space very tightly, but my amzing contractors made it work. He also added a toe kick to the bottom for that custom look. I highly recommend this product and anything from this company.
