I was so excited to get them because we do not have any railings alongside of the steps entering our home or exiting out onto our patio. After these bars were installed it has made it so much easier and safer for her.  Not only do they solve her problems but their stylish shape and beautiful chrome color makes them look very modern and not hospital like. The bars feel very secure and easy to grip onto. Also, they are rust resistant, so they should be ok being exposed to wet weather. These grab bars were not at all difficult for my husband to install. The instructions were clear with good pictures. All of the necessary screws were included. I havent installed it yet but I do wish it came in 30x30 as well as this 24x24. It's more logical than installing two grab bars if entry requires it as my shower is does. Allows the hand to naturally follow the rail support all the way into the area. Finishes are as expected, black matte and only time will tell if they chip fade or crack.
