This rug is SO soft on the bare feet! Yes, it is thin, but works perfectly for our home office. The beige color has a slight gold tinge, but it complements our Sherwin Williams Smoky Blue wall beautifully. The thinness of the rug allows the office chair to move easily as well. This is the perfect 9x12 rug for our family room! I bought a different cheaper rug initially, and there is a sizeable difference in the quality. This one is much thicker, denser, and has a perfect pattern for hiding stains or spills. That said, I wouldn't pay full price for the rug. We got it on sale and I feel like it's well worth it. Rug looks beautiful and is super soft. We also got a rug pad for underneath (1/4”) that makes the rug even softer to walk on. Fast shipping and packaged well. We got the 9x12 foot size and the rug was folded in half and then rolled, but it’s been laid out flat for 24 hours and flattening out quickly. Definitely happy with this purchase. Well, this is sort of funny. I wanted to replace two runners in our master bedroom that would be the same colors as what I have had for about five years.
