Added this to the side of my house. I added pressurized wood to level bottom since my pad is sloped. Also added wood around the sides and top because the brickwork on the bottom prevents greenhouse from being flush against siding. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural minerals that expand with heat to push a piston, which raises the window, as the air gets warmer then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The automatic vent opener operates without the use of electricity.

I waited until the first severe windstorm to see how it held up before writing this review. It did great! I have it bolted directly into my porch, mind you. As others have stated, assembling this is a trip to the 7th circle of hell. It took me and two other people 5 days to put this together. The instructions are very poor, things not labelled properly, some steps are backwards, some of the pieces just don't fit together quite right, you'll get part way through and then realize you put something on upside down without realising it (because it's not labelled) and then have to backtrack several steps, and so on. I love this greenhouse, which seems to have much more space than 4x4. It is sturdy, and looks both nice and functional. My assessment of this item is Wayfair has the very best price around, in fact it was 33 less than anywhere else. It looks great. It is sturdy. There is loads of room inside. The Bad points Very difficult to assemble due to holes not matching up. Directions have no words, only pictures, and a few can be quite confusing. This backyard greenhouse from Outsunny is every gardener's dream. You can customize it to your needs with no fixed shelves or railings. Very clever kit with very minimal written directions. Pictorials don’t completely explain some things, but you can figure it out if you are good at assembling. It took at least a full week to assemble it. More hands help, or use temporary bracing to hold parts in place. It just included a small screwdriver and wrench, but luckily I had a ratcheting socket wrench set, and hired a highly skilled handyman, who had a cordless drill. We set the base on PT 4x4. Three 12’ long worked, but you need to assemble the bottom 1st, then measure to exact sizes. I will add a couple photos to show the “clips” used to hold panels in place. Overall, it’s pretty solid after complete assembly and no pieces were missing, which was a relief. It won’t stay very warm if not sheltered. All the braces go on the inner side & all the plastic panels go on the outside. The vents assembly has to be hooked under the edge of the ridge at top, and set so they can hook slots in #4 pieces onto the tab (it should point up). Pictures should show that better. This greenhouse is absurdly difficult to assemble. For some reason it is designed to be on constant level ground. It’s a greenhouse, it goes outside in a garden where there are hills. The problem stems from these drop in rods they use. These rods go into rectangular slots and then fasten to absolutely nothing.
