This wall-mounted control is compatible with most Fanimation ceiling fans. Utilizes a slider to control three fan speeds, allowing you to simply control the output of your ceiling fan.

My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches. I found these worked well. I didn't realize at first that the second multi-switch must the same model, not another model or a simple 3/4 way switch. I also found that the switch didn't work well w/o adjusting the time settings. The switch would either conflict or run into a race condition where both switched switched "off" at the same time and it sent both switches into a non-functioning mode - button didn't work at all. Resetting the switch (manually) or via a power-off, and power-on (breaker) appeared to reset the switches, and both would work once, and then go into a hung mode. Adjusting the timing of the switches via the documentation so that they were not using the default times from the factory, caused both switches to work great. If you don't know that this has to me mounted to a low voltage ring or electrical box by looking at it, you probably shouldn't be messing around with anything electrical.
