Okay, so I must say that I felt bad for my husband, after looking at the many tiny bubble-bags of hardware that came with this desk I could have never built this myself! He was so patient with the building process. We started building about (2) hours before dinner and then went back to it for an hour after. I’ve been promised that tomorrow…before lunchtime, my new desk will be fully assembled. Love the way the desk looks, but the (2) drawers are so tiny…not sure what to put into them other than a few small items (penspencils, and a couple of notepads. This desk had me a bit frustrated towards the end. The instructions are a bit vague and it seems overly complicated to build. It is pretty lightweight, but overall, it is cute and a nice size for a kids room. My daughter loves this and it really blends in anywhere. It has two decent sized drawers and we really like the taller enclosed back so art supplies aren’t rolling off the desk. Worth the effort, definitely not something I would recommend building alone.. Surface Mount LED Tape Light Mounting Channels are made from high quality, double-anodized, aviation-grade aluminum alloy and are available in three profiles: straight, angled, and recessed. They can be fitted with the included frosted polymer cover to conceal the LEDs and diffuse the light output. Channels are useful for installations where the lighting will be visible, such as on the underside of a shelf or in a display cabinet, or to soften lighting to eliminate reflective hot spots on a nearby surface. They can be cut to length using a fine-tooth handsaw and run in sequence to create a longer fixture. They can be mounted to surfaces with the included brackets or double-sided adhesive tape (not included). The brackets guarantee easy and secure mounting to the desired surface, and can also be used as connectors between channels.

We used these for all the led tape lighting in a new kitchen with glass cabinets and under and above cabinet lighting. The diffusers create a soft light and the tracks came in white and black to blend with the cabinets. Much nicer than seeing the tape.. Monica. Durango, CO. Sat Dec 28 2024
