Only on day 2 but it was easy to set up and it’s vacuumed twice so far. I’m pretty sure it’s pulling hair from the carpet that came from our dogs, and the last dog had been gone for two years! Used the mop method for the 1st time. It does a pretty good job. Not like a hand mop but it does clean up sticky spills and picks up dirt left behind but the vacuum. I recently purchased this steam mop, and I am quite pleased with it so far. I’m glad that the pads are machine washable, which saves money compared to disposable cleaning products. Another thing I like is the self-standing design. Unlike some mops that constantly tip over, this one stands upright on its own, making it much easier to use and store. The swivel head helps it maneuver around furniture and into tight spaces, and at only three pounds, it is lightweight enough for me to easily handle. The included carpet attachment is a nice addition, allowing the mop to surface clean carpets as well as clean hard floors. I also like that it cleans using only steam, without the need for chemicals. The power cord is long enough to move around a room without stopping every minute. Overall, this steam mop is well-designed, lightweight, versatile, effective, and reasonably priced. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
