We’re extremely happy with the Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace. The flame looks very realistic and bright, and being able to adjust the flame speed is a great feature. The flame and base color options are excellent and don’t look cheap at all. It’s definitely worth the extra cost compared to cheaper options—this looks and functions like a very high-end fireplace without having to spend thousands more. It added a beautiful, premium touch to our new media wall. It came with a log, driftwood and crystals. So, you can style it however you like. The only downside was the shipping speed. Delivery through Wayfair took about two weeks, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, the fireplace itself is amazing. This has a nice, slim clearance, works great, and heats a room quickly. My only 2 complaints are that the highest brightness setting on the orange/real flame is not very bright. 2nd, there is a warning sticker front and center above the flame that I assume would peel off, but when I started to remove it, it was silver beneath indicating it wasn't meant to be removed. I was looking for something cool to do on this wall to make it like a feature in our living room. When I found this recessed wall mounted electric fireplace. I was super excited. I thought this would be the perfect thing to make that wall a feature. I have an appointment with our contractor next week to get this officially installed in the wall. Putting it together was very easy. It came with everything you need except for a screwdriver, you take out 2 screws to place all of your crystals and wood. You can really place them however you want, which I thought was cool. It comes with a remote, which is awesome. This thing changes to so many colors. It is so cool you can make your flame any color and the lights under the rocks any color. I really like the different color combinations. And this thing actually puts out heat perfect for those chilly nights in the fall in winter. The colors are super bright and bold. I was not expecting it to be such high-quality.
