I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. All purpose: Lexel is a co-polymer rubber-based sealant. It has excellent adhesion to a wide variety of materials, even after seven days of water immersion. Although it's tougher and resists tearing, Lexel is a soft rubber. This allows it to stretch and compress with joint movement.

The desk mount is meant to be adjustable. Static immobile stands are limiting, provide poor image quality, and they can actually be poor for your health.
