Baldwin door handles are always nice quality. You get what you pay for I guess. I installed it on a new man door on my garage that leads out to my garden and deck. Since my front door of my house has a Baldwin handset I wanted to get another so they could be keyed to match and then the house has a consistent style. My installer thought it was extreme to put such a fancy door handle on a door leading into my garage but I figured I wanted this to be a “one and done” project and have it look good. These are the best out there. Not the cheap big box store stuff. Expensive but solid. I’ve had this handle throughout my house for 15 years. Other than a little lubricant every decade, they are still has strong and tight as when they were first installed. I just replaced a few of them that were in high use areas where the oil rubbed bronze finish had worn off a little. But that is the only issue we have faced for more than 15 years.
