This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. So far so good. Equator is the only appliance maker to offer the extremely useful induction-ceramic combo, so kudos to the company for that. These units have a known issue of the hot surface LED for the front right burner not turning off even after the burner has cooled. I'm hoping that they will fix it promptly under warranty. Will update the review based on my experience with their service. For power levels 3 and lower, the induction burners cycle rather than truly lowering power. Not a problem in most cases, especially given that the appliance is relatively inexpensive.
