My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this cabinet. It did arrive with one panel slightly bent, but my husband was able to lightly tap it with a hammer back into shape. It was carefully packaged well, but it is very heavy, and arrived by freight, so some bending is probably inevitable. We are using this in the garage, so we don’t mind a couple small dings. My husband said the assembly was relatively simple. There were a lot of pieces and it took about 2 hrs to put together. The drawers are smooth, and lock well— same for the cabinet doors. I was not able to add the casters as the wheels added height and it would not fit under my desk. So there is about an inch or inch and a half gap between the top of the file cabinet and my desk. The only complaint I have is the top drawer does not pull out all the way. There are several inches of space at the back of the drawer that can't been seen. Seems like wasted space. Another quick package to arrive. Heavy box but all in tact because of the decent packaging. It was fairly easy to assemble. I like that it comes with gloves because you’ll need it to protect from metal edges. Knocked out a star because I believe the middle bracket step should be done earlier in the process, otherwise you can’t slide it into place. Tool chest is exactly what I needed. What I didn’t expect is multiple delays. The order was placed on December 29th, It was finally delivered on January 21 but came in partly damaged. I was offered two options either reordering same item or partial reimbursement. Since reordering would face the same obstacles I opted for partial reimbursement.
