Be prepared to spend a day assembling this kennel! It arrived in 3 large boxes, 100lbs each but well packed and lined with wood. All of the various parts are letter coded, the best is that all of the bolts and screws are the same size for the entire structure. The materials are heavy duty, it is best to have 2 people working and holding panels to get everything lined up. My only complaint is the main doors. For some reason the hinges ARE the screws, which doesn’t seem secure or could loosentighten over time. Second is that there is a fairly large gap between the doors and the rest of the kennel where all other pieces are very tight together. I’m using this for chickens and will need to come up with a solution to fill in that gap. All in all, I think this is great quality. It came with ground stakes to prevent the wind from taking it. Where are all my poultry people at If you are anything like me youve got a house full of kids and a backyard full of chickens and ducks. The problem is is that we also have dogs. One dog doesnt care about the chickens but lets just say the other one does. Enter this kennel. It is super sturdy and very heavy duty. We arent using it to put the dogs in but in fact to keep them out. Not only will this provide protection from the dogs, it is fully enclosed and will provide extra protection from birds of prey and other predators like raccoons. This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed!
