I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? I accidentally sucked up a metal door stopper that had broken and I immediately stopped the machine and took it apart to find the piece. Found it…in the bag. We've only had it 2 days so it's a very general review. So far so good. It's the first canister vac I have had so I wasn't sure what to think but I researched based on having hard wood floors, budget and longevity and this model was recommended.
