No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly a little skeptical of why such a small fan was so expensive but wow so I stand corrected! This thing is awesome! It has a crazy range from gentle breeze to full wind tunnel, and the wind is smooth and steady the entire time. It covers and where and any way you want while firmly asserting its quality at all times. I haven't tried out all of the different modes and settings yet but I'm very excited for them. I purchased the Vornado Portal Low Profile Window Fan for our nearly 200-year-old farmhouse, which does not have central air conditioning, and it has made a noticeable difference in keeping the house comfortable.
