This is a terrific little system! I am a tea drinker and my husband let it slip that the UK has hot water on demand in many places... I asked if we could and lo and behold! Installation was easy*, although we didn't use the supplied filter as we have it going through a filter system already. The temperature isn't exact, so we did have to mess with the dial a little. It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. The LG dehumidifier works quite well. It's modern-looking, has a customizable humidity setting and a sensor that turns off the unit once the desired humidity level has been reached. It also senses when the bucket is full and when to clean the filter which is very easy to do. However, you should consider two things: 1) you can get a filter so that the hot water is filtered -if you drink filtered water normally, your hot water should also be filtered! 2) if you get a filter, then you might want to get a dispenser that dispenses both hot OR cold. Very efficient controller. Have only had it in place for about 2 months so time will tell, but it's working great so far. The only thing I wasn't clear on was that it will only work for one faucet. This dehumidifier keeps my 700 sq foot apartment humidity levels below 50% -- if not on, the humidity climbs to the high 70s! It's not very loud--just a little white noise in the background that doesn't interfere with TV, music, conversations, etc. I do have to empty the tank every day (sometimes 2x), but it's easy to take out and dump in my sink so not a problem. My previous dehumidifier was the smaller version and ran continuously for almost a year, but then stopped working. I was refunded the amount I paid for that one, and in turn bought this one.
