We are used to cooking with stainless cookware and the only usable burner for cooking on lower heat is the simmer burner. The others are just too intense. The grates are really heavy duty. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. I absolutely love this model. Cooking and baking have been very consistent. The design is sleek and clean. The controls are easy to use and the features are wonderful. Bakes so well, too. It preheats quickly and stays at an even temperature throughout. Mine is convert to LP and I have had no problems with either cooking or baking. I really like the way I can tap on the oven door, and it lights up inside without having to open the door more importantly the glass is crustal clear so I can clear see inside.
