I bought this because it was small and made of metal, not plastic. I discovered that the base is actually plastic, but is covered by the 'crumb tray'. Nice Serving Station!! I’m excited to try out my new serving station. This will be so nice to have for all the family dinners when you have things that you need to keep hot or warm until serving time. They seem like they will hold quite a bit.-They also come with lids.
