Arrived securely packaged. Assembly instructions could have been a bit clearer but I figured it out. I couldn't find the upper back side cushions but after contacting customer service, I was able to locate and remove them under the seat by extending the footrest. They slide into the brackets easily. The mechanical parts work well. It lifts my 83 year old mother to her feet easily. Vibrating massage and heat are nice and promptly put her to sleep. I would not describe this as a plush recliner. The upper back cushion is fairly flat and will probably need pillows behind it, to make it more comfortable for my mom, who has back problems.
